artist. He was born in 1769 in Edo, which is now Tokyo He is most
noted for his paintings of Kabuki actors. You can

Koto: The Koto is a traditional Japanese stringed instrument with 13
strings strung over 13 movable bridges along the width of the instrument.
String
pitches can be changed by moving these bridges before playing.
