Kyoshi Weekley's lifelong interest in martial arts began at a very young age when he discovered the hit series Kung Fu as a child. He found himself inspired, and when the opportunity to train became available, he devoted himself to the study of martial arts. His first training was in Shorin Ryu Karate. Kyoshi Weekley began his martial arts career while studying for a degree in criminal justice. As he traveled around in pursuit of a career in law enforcement, he was able to sample many different martial arts before discovering Ninpo Tai Jutsu. This was to become a life changing discovery. He soon became devoted to teaching Ninpo Tai Jutsu full time. Two years after making the decision to dedicate his life to the pursuit of martial arts, he opened the first of his dojos in Parker, Colorado in February of 1992. Now many years later, he is the Chief Instructor of 2 schools of his own in Colorado & travels the world as a guest of many different Martial Arts dojos. As well as his own dojos, he helps to oversee several dojos nationally and internationally.
In addition to his teaching career, Kyoshi Weekley continues to expand his horizons. He is a trained Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, a published author and public speaker. Kyoshi Weekley is a defensive tactics instructor for several law enforcement agencies, and a tactical firearms instructor.
